Modern society comes with its own set of new challenges. We are experiencing a growing demand for knowledge and innovation. Current economic developments are characterised by internationalisation. Other key trends include growing cultural symbiosis and renewed interest in putting knowledge into practice. These challenges are placing corresponding new demands on professionals. As such, the development of knowledge for real-world applications is increasingly determining the position and institutional focus of universities of applied sciences and, as a result, is becoming increasingly important for society. The Hague University of Applied Sciences aims to take a proactive stance and to contribute in building our society's knowledge infrastructure. As a knowledge institution, we are dedicated to the dissemination and valorisation of the knowledge we develop and offer.
